Orthocenter, Mid-Segment Triangle by: Aubrey
An orthocenter is the common intersection of the three altitudes of a triangle or their extensions (according to Webster.com). A mid segment is a line segment that joins the midpoints of two sides of a triangle (according to Mathopenref.com). And a triangle has three possible mid segments. A mid-segment triangle is created from drawing these three segments.

Basic Orthocenter, Mid-Segment Triangle

To create the triangle, right click once and drag to create the base in any desired direction. The move up (or down) to create the peak of the triangle. You have now created a mid-segment triangle. Notice that both the larger and the smaller triangles will have an orthocenter. You can also play with the one I have already created to see what happens to both triangles as the size changes. Enjoy!
